Hey there, fellow Deviants & Dear friends!

I know, I know, it seems like I disappeared into the digital abyss for a while, but fear not, I am very much alive and kicking! Life threw a few curveballs my way, including the saga of my son's job hunt, the great laptop dilemma, and a dash of globetrotting adventure [not really, just little travelling]. But guess what? I've emerged from the chaos, and I come bearing fantastic news!

I've officially welcomed a shiny new laptop into my life, and it's eager to get acquainted with Photoshop once again. It's like introducing a new member to the family.

During my time away, I did some soul-searching and I realized how much I missed all of you amazing artists and the incredible artwork on this platform. DeviantArt is like my second home, and you folks are my quirky, creative family.

But here's a little secret – when I logged in today, I was greeted by a mountain of messages and notifications. Seriously, it's like a digital treasure trove! There are so many kind words, favs, and watches that I can't possibly thank each and every one of you personally (though I wish I could). So, consider this journal entry a heartfelt collective "Thank You!" 🙏

Your support and encouragement mean the world to me, and I'm truly grateful for every like, comment, and watch. You folks are the wind beneath my artistic wings, and I couldn't be more thankful to have such an incredible DeviantArt family.

God, I got my laptop charger. I feel like life brought back XD

Before participating in any contest please check who the judges are and their gallery...if they are popular and have a shitty gallery with hundreds of favs from people they know then skip the contest. They socialize very much and not every body can be like that. We have selected friends and eye for beauty, we can't expect the same from everyone.

You even notice they got Deviant art award (DD)s. They are the same. Majority of them doesn't have any artistic value. I even saw a deviation which isn't cut properly and pasted with 200 favs in an hour. Before going step further an artist must at least know that the cut and paste must fit in. The choice of their colors will hurt your eyes. Nothing in the image blends one with another! So please don't disheartened when you don't win and I even was ashamed once when my work won among other shit load of works. I thought this is not real victory. NO POLITICAL CORRESTNESS SHOULD BE EXPECTED WHEN IT COMES TO ART. NO SUGAR COATING FOR ANYONE'S FEELINGS. THIS IS NOT GAME, IT IS CRUSHING A TALENTED WITH A CUNNING BRAIN. I have to write this because last night a friend was very upset that they have lost and they are brilliant. Yes, it happens very often. Wait for recognition and keep working, or just please yourself than expecting someone's acceptance. You serenity will win someday real big and it will keep you real.
